The WWF is run at a local level by the following offices...
Since 2001, we have been leading the way on community-led, inclusive conservation. We work to protect nature and support people through four key conservation programmes: Forests, Freshwater, Wildlife, and Climate Change. We also integrate gender inclusion, environmental education, research, and species monitoring into our work – ensuring long-term impact for both people and nature.
Nature-based solutions and climate-smart livelihoods are key tools supporting communities and ecosystems. Meanwhile, our growing plastics programme is shaping policies toward a cleaner, plastic-free Laos. At the core of all our efforts is supporting the fight against biodiversity loss – from protecting habitats and combating illegal wildlife trade to strengthening law enforcement, raising awareness, and promoting inclusion and full participation in our work.
OUR VISION 2030
WE ARE ON A JOURNEY TOWARDS A PEOPLE AND NATURE-POSITIVE LAOS.
Through the FY26 – FY30 Strategic Plan, WWF-Laos reaffirms its commitment to working more collaboratively and innovatively with the Lao government, stakeholders, and both international and local partners to better support communities in managing and promoting the sustainable use of natural resources – advancing our mission to build a future where the people of Laos can thrive and live in harmony with nature.
